how to add connection string in web.config of local database

Hii...I am using visual studio 2019. In that I am getting connection string in web.config..So plz tell me how to get that connection string of local database(sql server) in my web.config..so I can test connection..Plz help me

open your project in visual studio on the menu bar go to view ---> Server Explorer on server explorer--->Right click on data connection--->Add connection then select your server name or specify it manually if not present in dropdown and then select database name and click ok. now on server explorer you will notice the database is added , right click on it and select properties there you will find connection string. copy it and replace it with the web.config connection string.
