how to add facilities to the user on subscription

hiii all,

I am developing a project in which the user have to the subscribe for additional features if he wants to have those functionalities... by default
the user will be given default features... can any one suggest me what to do? what to use? how can i accomplish this task? i am not even understanding how to start the process..... please help???????
