how to add font familly properties to dropdownlist

I have a dropdownlist in which i am having Times new roman,Verdana,etc..when i select text then property has to be applied

apart from rich text box.....is there any solution? if yes suggest me

for this you better use richtextbox, since while reading data from textbox or textarea will not read with formatted.

.In my chat application...i have textbox(to enter text) then fontbutton clicked(its user wish)then dropdownlist(italic,bold,normal)..after selecting font it is showing bold,italic etc ..I am storing message to db then from there i am binding that message into datalist(in datalist not showing any bold etc)

Don't know weather it's a typo or not but `style.fontfamily ` must be `style.fontFamily `

Also check the console if you are getting any error.
