I have to implement a search functionality on my current page for that I want to add a searchbox in ApplicationBar .
Please tell me How to add Textbox in Applcationbar.

is not possible to insert a textbox in application bar, because it's not derived to UIelement. Have two choise i, my opinion, add a textbox in a grid at the end of the page, or another page only for search.
