how to apply remote validations for email aready exists?

I want to apply remote validation on the email Id, if Email ID is already present in the database then on the registration form it should have to display the error message ' Email ID already Exists'. HOW TO PERFORM THIS?

Hi Akki Nikam, There are articles which Manav has pointed out but to give you whole information back again we will do following step : 1. Create model something like following: public class UserModel { [Required] public string UserName { get ; set ; } [Remote( "CheckExistingEmail" , "User" , ErrorMessage = "Email already exists!" )] public string UserEmailAddress { get ; set ; } } 2. You have to make sure the data annotation mention in model for email should match tall the specification [Remote("CheckExistingEmail", "User", ErrorMessage = "Email already exists!")] Here "CheckExistingEmail" indicates action and "User" indicates controller.
