How to apply validation allow a 1300 or 1800 hundred number

hi all

i want apply validation for below condition

allow a 1300 or 1800 hundred number ie. 13000 55 60 80

please provide soultion regarding this

you are setting wrong expresssion

if i give like this means it is not taking

[RegularExpression("(^1300\d{6}$)|(^1800\d{6}$)", ErrorMessage = "Entered number must be start with 1300 or 1800")]

you need a regex something like:
"(^1300\d{6}$)|(^1800\d{6}$)"
where:
^ indicates start of input,
1300 or 1800 is the pattern to match,
d{6} indicates 6 digits

change it as you want.

Textbox should accept starting number 1300 or 1800 only. otherwise it will display error
this is my requirement

have you tried asp.net validation controls setting min and max values
for other requirements, you will need a regex, but need more details from you
