How to build messages like Face Book or Orkut

How could we develop the application in which users can send, recieve messages like we do have the functionality of private messages or Inbox facility in social networking websites (Like Face Book or Orkut). This application should also be able to store the messages of users. Please give me some idea or share some link to follow.

Well dear you are not understood what Jure trying to say..

Nobody will not provide you ready made code, to achive your logic.

You need to learn asp.net and must know how to insert/retrive data from DB, how to send mails etc etc..

There a long way to go..

Well dear I was not asking the information you pasted above. I was just asking if we send some private messages in face book or orkut to our some friend or to all of our friends and friends recieve it in their inbox then how could we develop this functionality in asp.net.

I thought you were asking more in a sense of which technology to choose.

What you want can't be done by copy-pasting a few lines of code. You'd have to set up a database and a controller or two... Check out the link I gave you above, I think it'll help you with that.
