How to check browser is offline or online in asp.net 2008.

I want to prevent work of my asp.net application when client browser in offline mode .

Please help me.

Do it using JavaScript

if(!(navigator.onLine)) alert("U'r Browser seems to be Offline! \n Please,Disable Work Offline and Reload page");
