How to check the givem email address exists or not using ASP

Not in the database, See I am giving an example, Like if you enter a email address and click on the submit button, we are suppose to check the entered email address is correct or not. I am not talking about the validation its about the domain checking.

[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]

Hi Paresh Patel,

you need all type of domain for this and it is not possible . If any one is providing this it must be Paid one .
Mean while there are lakh and crore of domain how you wil check .

just validating it will be right one .

Hi Paresh,

Email address can be appended by some company name like [email protected] this email is a valid mail addresss so we check only the format not any mail provider

you need all type of domain for this and it is not possible you can have some of them in database and check against it.

Hi Paresh,

You can use the below query for this validation.

select * from tbl_name where SUBSTRING(email,CHARINDEX('@', tbl_email),20) like SUBSTRING('" & given_email & "',CHARINDEX('@', '" & given_email & "'),20)

In this query we are validating weather the domain of given email id (given_email ) is present in the domain of emailid which is in the table(tbl_email). If condition returns false you can give validation using javascript.

this code only check gmail account. i check all type mail check, like yahoo,gmail,hotmail,raddiffmail.
