how to compare the login details with database

Hi,

First of all you have to provide much details like what technology you are using.

For now, I am suggesting you the logical idea.

When User enters username and password in login form. Store the username and password in 2 different variable. And then call database query from your code such as

SELECT *
FROM tblRegistration
WHERE Username="SubmittedUsername" AND Password="SubmittedPassword"

Now check in code whether this query returns 1 record.

If the query returns 0 record then it means that user is not registered. Else user is registerd and you can handle further process.

Here is the reference link for you which describe the same task you want.
