Does someone have a good tutorial how to configure LDAPS on postgresql and Active Directory? im having trouble with the certs creation and LDAPS port

389 is unencrypted, unless you enable STARTTLS.

hostssl all all 172.18.92.145/32 ldap ldapserver=172.18.92.154 ldapport=389 ldapbasedn="CN=Users,DC=LIRANDOM,DC=COM" ldapbinddn="CN=liran,CN=Users,dc=LIRANDOM,dc=COM" ldapbindpasswd="password" ldapsearchattribute="sAMAccountName" I am using this in my pg_hba.conf - and it works, but i guess it connects with LDAP and not LDAPS. even though logs "show" SSL is on.I think my problem is with the certs between AD and linux.yes

your AD server should have a certificate already also setting TLS on in pg_hba.conf doesn't switch to LDAPS, but enables STARTTLS. For LDAPS, you have to give a ldaps:// URI.
