how to convert database table value retrieve time convert to hh:mm. the base var to convert single value is done but database table value time convert is complicated

DateTime x = DateTime.Parse("01/01/2010 10:45 PM");
Console.WriteLine(x.ToString("hh:mm"));

Note: HH is for 24 hour basis.
