how to convert date format from MMM dd,yyyy to dd/MM/yyyy ?

Dear All ,

in my text box am getting date like MMM dd,yyyy (jan 22,2016) now i want to convert into dd/MM/yyyy (22/01/2016)

please help me how can i do this . ?

Accepted answer
First collect value from textbox and then convert it to DateTime object. Once it is converted you need get value as "dd/MM/yyyy" format. Here is the code:
CultureInfo provider = CultureInfo.InvariantCulture;
DateTime dateTimeObj = DateTime.ParseExact(txtDate.Text, "MMM dd,yyyy", provider);
txtDate.Text = dateTimeObj.ToString("dd/MM/yyyy");

It's Provides information about a specific culture.The information includes the names for the culture, the writing system, the calendar used, the sort order of strings, and formatting for dates and numbers.
using System.Globalization;//namespace


DateTime From = DateTime.ParseExact(txtFrom.Text, "dd/MM/yyyy", CultureInfo.InvariantCulture);

You can use this format:

// create date time 2016-01-22 16:05:07.123

DateTime dt = new DateTime(2016, 1, 22, 16, 5, 7, 123);

String.Format("{0:dd/MM/yyyy}", dt);

Its the best and easy approach to use.
