how to convert .doc file to xml file

Using the LEADTOOLS SDK you could perform the conversion of several document types include MS Word Doc to XML through the use of the DocumentConverter class. Do note this is a paid for SDK and I work for this vender.

I would recommend you to go for Aspose.Words for .NET Library. It can convert Word files (doc or docx) to XML and vice versa and to many other formats in C#/.NET. You can find sample code for many word document conversion here. I hope this will help you.
