i want to create a sql function that can convert the french date for example 08 november 2016 in arabic how to make it please

following could help you out,
declare @frenchData varchar(100)='1-janv-2012';
declare @Date varchar(100);
declare @ArabicData Date;
SET LANGUAGE N'French';
SET @Date= Convert (Varchar(100),CONVERT(DATE, @frenchData))

SET LANGUAGE N'Arabic'
SET @ArabicData=CONVERT(DATE, @Date)

select @ArabicData

you may use replace month name and replace number in arabic
