How to Convert PDF to Excel in asp.net

I think you can render PDF into bitmap object and then re-encode this bitmap object into Excel file.

You have to check out PDFsharp - http://pdfsharp.com/PDFsharp/, a .NET library for processing pdf files. I would recommend writing a quick prototype with it and then use QuickWatch to explore the structure (sections, paragraphs, etc) of your pdf files to find the data you need. To get the data into Excel, there are two options available that I know of, Office Interop and ADO.NET. The ADO option will give you database-like access to the excel worksheets (not a real good option if you are importing into complex existing spreadsheets that do not match the format needed). The interop option provides an object-oriented bridge for working with Excel data.
