how to copy certificate key

i have two database ,in first one database created certificate key.This cetificate key copy to second database with same dates and thumbprint(means same certificate copy).

How to possible?

 i am tried to copy by the backup and restore ,from this process i can copy  certificate but different in dates,thumbprint

pls help me...
