Pass string array in list constructor. List yourList = new List (strArray); The reason your first line didn't work was because you are not using the correct syntax. So instead of List lstArray = strArray.toList ; Use List lstArray = strArray.ToList ();

Sir if I use multi-dimensional array to list.....will it be Okay....? class a { public static string[,,, row; private string[,,,] skeleton() { Do some work.... return row; } } class b { private string[,,,] col; private void Body() { a d=new a(); a.skeleton(); col=a.row; } } This is multi-dimensional array to be copied from one class to another Here I want to use list or anything which will have no problem.....I mean performance or any other kind of problem....will any problem arise...?
