How to create a scheduled task to kill multiple instances of iexplore.exe

Hi Techies

I wanted to kill multiple instance of iexplore.exe (if open).
If there is only one instance which is open, so there is no need to close.

I'd see if this will work and, if it does, add it to your scheduled tasks:

using System;
using System.Diagnostics;

class Program
{
static void Main()
{
Process[] procs = Process.GetProcessesByName("iexplore");

if (procs.Length < 2) return; // 0 or 1 instance(s) running

for(int i = 1; i < procs.Length; i++) // kill all instances except first
{
procs[i].Kill();
}
}
}

For a more orderly shutdown, you can use CloseMainWindow() rather than Kill().
