How to create online movie ticket booking system?

i want to create a website in .net mvc for booking movie ticket.can anyone guide me what is step by step proccedure?

Hi Sarthak,

You may need identify/answer below questions to plan a solution.
How are you going to get the details of movies, evets, locations, cost etc for you application? Are you going to maintain it or you are integrating with some other system?
Are you building a platform to book tickets across multiple cinemas?
What are the different systems you are going to integrate with & do you have the api's with you?
What payment gateways you are using and do you have the APIs for the same?
If you are not a platform & designing for one cinema, then you need to have the screen details, seating arrangements & other informations.

Hi Sarthak,

You need to manage the master data(say tables) of movies, seat map/list, seat allocation. You create forms for admin to manage all these. You have a listing page where you list movies, and on selection of a movie you display the seat map & proceed for booking. User management depends if you have custom DB or allow OAuth.

i just want to make simple application for practice purpose in which there is list of movies and user can see the available seat and book the movie on particular date and time.and admin can update and delete the movie. admin also can see the seat availability and add or delete seat. without login user can check only seat availability. to book seat anyone have to login first.and user also can check the order history. there is no any payment gateway or payment option.
