How To Create Register,Login,Louout Using Masterpage Inaspc#

Please below steps to achieve:

Step1:

Design a master page with label and a link button which is your logout button. And click of the link it will clear the session then redirect to login page.

Put below code in master page and this function fires when link button clicked.

protected void lkbtn_lgout_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)

{

Session.Clear();

Session.Abandon();

Session.Remove("uid");

Session["uid"] = null;

Response.Redirect("~/login.aspx");

}

Hide the label and link for first time. And display those in as per session. Add below code in master page.

protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)

{

if (Session["uid"] != null)

{

lnkBtn.Visible = True;

lbl_user.Visible = True;

lbl_user.Text = "Welcome: " + Session["uid"].ToString();

}

Step2:

Add a login page with master page(discussed in step 1). And design your login page. On click on login button check a user is valid. If user is valid then assign userid to session and redirect home page.

protected void lkbtn_lgout_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)

{

// Check user id. Implement custom logic to validate user.

int testmID = validateUser();

if(testmID != null && testmID != 0){

Session["uid"] = testmID;

Response.Redirect("~/Home.aspx");

}else

{

// Display error message that user is not valid.

}

Hope this helps you to implement the same.
