How to define roles for every user in ASP.NET?

I mean I want to define a manager role and user roles for ASP.NET web project, so please guide me how to do that.

Hi,

Create your role like..

id    role      roletype              name           Active

1 1    manager rajeesh             1
2    2 user vimal                0

Design the table like above structure.if you need more columns just add it.In your login time fetch this information with username and password. role value and roletype you can insert using enum.more about enum just search in google.This is a basic steps...

Hi,

Better you can use enum and assign role in that enum.

public enum role
{
manager = 1,
user = 2
}
call this role in login time based on credential.When you create a role at that time save this enum value in db.

I mean I have a login page which has been set as a first page by the way I have two web forms which are manager and users so I want to give roles for manager and workers when the web user start the website I want to user to enter the username and password of him/her, then if he/she is manager the manager web form get displayed and so on, please guide me how to do that.
