how to delete data temporarily in front end asp

hi,

i want to delete data in gridview in asp,and the data should not be deleted in sqlserver .i just want to delete the data as temporarily on the front end.

is it posssible ,and if it is pls send a code

You need to store your data in a session and you can do your operations based on that as per your need.

Session["DataTable"]="your db data";

Convert this to datatable and start as per your need

Hi dear,
First kept the data in other DataTable like...
Session["dtToGrid"]
when ever u click on delete button then find first
which row u click and get ID which u want to delete....

int ID = Convert.ToInt32(e.CommandArgument);
DataTable updt = (DataTable)Session["dtToGrid"];

updt.Rows[i].Delete();
i++;
}
}
}

after that u will bind gridview
