how to delete files from a folder using code in VB.net

You nees to create a DirectoryInfo object and fill the list of a fileinfo array. This lets you loop round each file in the directory and delete it. Something like.... dim sPathName as string = "Your path:\" Dim di As New DirectoryInfo(sPathName) Dim fi As FileInfo() = di.GetFiles("*.TMP") Dim fiTemp As FileInfo For Each fiTemp In fi File.Delete(sPathName & fiTemp.Name) Next fiTemp ... will do it.
