How to delete the selected row in datagridview by clicking

If you want only simple solution then directly you can bind your datagridview to your database table.

Otherwise add a delete button on your form & on the button click :-

(01.) Stablish & open database connection.

(02.) Either pass directly query to your database or call a database stored procedure with

datagridview selected row ID(ID which is pk for your table) as i/p.

(03.) Then use ExecuteNonQuery().

Example:-

private void btnDelete_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)

{

using (SqlConnection con = new SqlConnection("Data Source=abc;Integrated Security=true;Initial Catalog=Test"))

{

con.Open();

SqlCommand cmd = new SqlCommand("Delete From DB_Table Where ID = @iID", con);

DataGridViewRow row = this.dataGridView1.SelectedRows[0];

int m_ID = Convert.ToInt32( row.Cells["ID"].Value );

cmd.Parameters.AddWithValue("@iID", m_ID );

cmd.ExecuteNonQuery();

con.Close();

}
