How to deploy a VSTO word Add-in and intall the setup

Hi,

I am using visual studio 2019, I created a word add-in, I published the code and create a setup file, when I install that, It neither gives any shortcut nor avilable in program menu.

Please make sure it was not a Web add-in (code in HTML-JavaScript-CSS) but a VSTO add-in (code in C#)

The process is somewhat different, follow there steps:

In MS Word, Open a new/blank file, then Go to file -> Options (last menu at bottom left)

Select "Add-ins", then in "Manage" dropdown select "COM Add-ins" then press "Go" button

then in the popup select "add"

now select the exe file which you installed and see what happens
