how to deploye visual studio web application

Hi, I created a web project using visual studio 2017 "vs2017 ". I need to deploy it I got those options, I do not know what to choose. please advise? To publish via vs 2017 , I need to create custom profile, I have two options of configuration 1. releaase 2. debug what is the difference between them . and what to choose Is there any resources available to read more about it. you can check this link : 1. release: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/visualstudio/deployment/quickstart-deploy-to-a-web-site?view=vs-2019 this shows how to pubish your app service. 2. debug While publishing your application you can set to debug. when you publish your applicaiton in debug mode you can do live debug. You can put breackpoints and check data of live site.

Debug : This will not compress your file(build file size will be more) and allow to debug even after deployment (live debugging is possible). Release : It will compress your build files.

Hi. Debug mode is used for debugging the web application. Release mode is used for final deployment . So if you are deploying the application then use always Release mode.
