How to do auto-login with the help of user_id ?

Yeah here better way to use the user_id in querystring but don't automatically login to application by user_id only..because it's not safe(if anyone accessing your application in public computer means what happens by history think it?) or you may use random tokens or otherwise you need to ask any security question from user

 

if MVC([httpget] method itself perform your insert operation and get your querystring and validate here)

if asp.net(check querystring and validate and insert into db in pageload itself).

thanks for answering the problem.

But , the exact scenario is that i am working on a scheduler which autmatically sends mail(Gmail) to the user along with a mail template which contains the rating star. when the user clicks on any no of star for any business , then I redirect the user to the business detail page of my website and i passed the value of rating in query string along with userid.

 

 

I am done with sending the values of rating in query string with user_id from the gmail.

 

help me in that scenario and i would really appreciate for your solution.
