How to do two opeartion i.e insert and view in one view MVC

I have a database,I want to do two operation in one view i.e insert a data to database and view it in same page only

Your view should be mapped with model. Secondly, you should have a form which will save your data. Thirdly you need to loop over the model and bind data controls to display records.

Below code is to save your record and then redirect to the same view with passing data.
[HttpPost]
public ActionResult Save(Employee model)
{
    //Save model to DB here ...

    ModelState.Clear();
    // get employee list from DB
    List empModel = new  List() { };
    return View("Index", empModel);
}
