How to edit dropdownlist

Question

    in run mode i have dropdownlist as follows

 

    Coursename      Dropdownlist1 (Aff)

 

 In dropdownlist1 i have Aff i want to edit that dropdownlist1 value.

 

 

for that how can i do in asp.net using c#
