How to find specific type of controls using c# winforms

To get all the spacific control from the form you could write recursive method as below.

public static IList GetAllControlsRecursive(Control control) where T : Control
{
var rtn = new List();
foreach (Control item in control.Controls)
{
var ctr = item as T;
if (ctr != null)
{
rtn.Add(ctr);
}
else
{
rtn.AddRange(GetAllControlsRecursive(item));
}
}
return rtn;
}

// then call the method for example using loop

foreach (var txtbox in GetAllControlsRecursive(this))
{
// write your code
MessageBox.Show(txtbox.Text);
}
