I have done school management system project using with windows application forms in c#.net,in this system student has to pay his fee in three terms .he had to pay his first term fees ,and he will come to pay his second term now if i select id from combo box it should display like this
"the first term fee has to be paid by ...."
how to do this

First when you are getting all student id during same time you have to check by join from fee table and catch the value with match the id same . Meanwhile you have got the list check condtion with while first term fee availale or not. if available you have to put at time of bind dropdown sataticallly same sentence.
Second trick:
Create a join and check condtion first term fees submitted or not. Whether it is not submittted you can concatnate same sentence. And you can through the value from DB to UI.
