How to get the count of records

Hi, My table of records are like below EMPID Name Department 1 AAAAA 1 2 BBBBB 2 3 CCCCC 2 4 DDDDD 3 5 EEEEEE 3 and I need to show them like below. Department Count 1 1 2 2 3 2 Can somebody help on this with the query, --Thanks in advance, Murali krishna
