Suppose that:

1. The DGV on Form1 has been placed directly on that form and is called dataGridView1.

2. The DGV on Form2 is called dataGridView2.

3. You want to display the value at row 0, column 0 of dataGridView2 at the same location in datagridView1.

Then the code to do that from Form2 would be:

Form1 f1 = (Form1)Application.OpenForms["Form1"];
DataGridView dgv = (DataGridView)f1.Controls["dataGridView1"];
dgv.Rows[0].Cells[0].Value = dataGridView2.Rows[0].Cells[0].Value;
