how to get the night differential between 10pm and 06 am

Question

using 2 maskedtextbox..and 2 textbox, 1 for total hours and 1 for night differential

for example i type 09:00pm and 08:00 am the total hours should be 3 hours and night differential should be 8 hours..
please help..

for the nice implementation, try to cast the string to DateTime and then using Totalhours property, you should be good. Double hours = (seconddatetime-firstdatetime).TotalHours;

There is no pre defined function to get your output directly, you have to create your own Subtract your start time from 12:00 am and then subtract 12:00 am from 8:00 am. you will get your total hours. Good luck!!
