How to get user near location product on google map

hello,

in my website its baeds on restaurants which is add by Admin

now user search some restaurant but not found then i want to show near location restaurants which is added bye admin

when we add restaurants then we store country/state/city/ address and longt/lati of google map to show

i dont get any idea how to show user location based near location restaurants list

suppos

i from New delhi then show me list of restaurants Delhi ,Noida ,Gurgaon. theas City is near to delhi

and show on google map

so plese tell me how to show

and next problem is how to define the range

if my latitude is 29 and longitude is 72

then how we define the "28.5 to 29.5" and "longitude between 71.5 and 72.5"

how we set range
i f i find 5 km range data show then

????

as you said that this logic is perfect ?

coz we dont know how to google calculate the long/lati

if your logic as you said you use in your app
so let me try

but i am not sure about this thing but let me try

Hi Dharmesh,
We had a database provided by company storing restaurants details by their latitude and longitude. We have created a service to get the list of retardants by adding a little margin to current latitude and longitude of the person searching

Ex: if my latitude is 29 and longitude is 72

I get the list of restaurants with latitude lying in between 28.5 to 29.5 and same for longitude between 71.5 and 72.5

That list I was binding in the list adapter and showing them on screen. Even all the restaurants was plotted on the Google map also

You need to find your latitude and longitude and then in your data base you should have the list of restaurants with their latitude and longitude. Add a fix amount to your latitude and longitude and pick all the restaurants in that range and show them.

I have developed a similar app, but in android. The app name is Epicurean.
