How to get wallet funded and be used to make transactions

I want to buy a game on steam WITHOUT using my steam wallet funds. Is there ANY POSSIBLE WAY to do this?

Yes, I have done so multiple times.

There was a steam discussion (How to NOT use steam wallet funds?) that said that you have to click some “change” button to not use the steam wallet.

The option to change the payment method is available during the last stage of check-out when you are making the final purchase confirmation.
