How to increase the sharpness of an image

Hi All,

I have applied the interpolation mode, pixeloffset mode , compositing mode,smoothingmode with High Quality.But the image edge is not clearly visible. The edge line is not clearly visible during rendering.Any other factors available to increase the sharpness of an image.
