You can check the below articles link. Basically it is in Angular 4.0 version. But process will work same for Angular 5 also. For that u just need to update the package.json file.

Visual Studio Code is not dependent on Visual Studio. You just install the Visual Studio Code and work on it. If you want to add Visual Studio Code Folder to Visual Studio then First Create a Blank Web Application and then simpley add all the files of Visual Studio Code into Visual Studio Environment.
