How to keep overlapped images in correct place when resizing a picturebox inside a panel?

Of course I spoke a little too soon. It is working ok, but any time you move the scroll bars on the panel I have the image inside, the image corrupts. It does however keep the unit icon in the right spot; its just corrupted or becomes invisible.. Any idea how to redraw it upon scrolling to be positioned at that scroll x,y?

Figured out a way to do it. Graphics g = pictureBox1.CreateGraphics(); as opposed to this.CreateGraphics(); I used a combo of this article: http://www.c-sharpcorner.com/Code/2002/April/DrawTransparentImageUsingAB.asp and this article: http://www.codeproject.com/cs/media/alphafx.asp Thanks. Here is an image of what I'm working on. http://seow.trianglesimsociety.org/TMalphashot.JPG I am trying to paint overlayed images of small military units on this ww2 map. After the user click on a position, the program asks to make sure they want to add a division in that pixel coordinate. Should I do an non-visible form that pops up, opens the image, overlays the unit icons, takes a printscreen of the form, saves the image, then resets the picture box image to that new image? Something along that line? May be the only way. FYI:This is a tool for use with a flight simulator to autocreate divisions of units on a map template.
