Hi Kripanshu, The general steps to create a DLL in C# using Visual Studio: Open Visual Studio and create a new project. Select “Class Library” as the project template. Give the project a name and location, and then click “Create.” In the Solution Explorer, open the “Class1.cs” file. This is the default file that is created for a new class library project. Write the code for your DLL in the “Class1.cs” file. You can add additional classes and files as needed. Build the project by clicking on “Build” → “Build Solution” or press “Ctrl + Shift + B” The DLL file will be located in the bin/debug or bin/release folder, depending on the build configuration that you selected. Note: You can also make a DLL file using the command line interface by using csc.exe, which is the C# compiler.

Developes are constantly saying DLL but there are many types of DLLs. In .Net a Class Library is a DLL and you are probaly asking about Class Libraries (as has been indicated). Developers should not say DLL without clarifiying what type of DLL. If it is a .Net Class Library that you need then calling it a Class Library would make it much easier to understand, as has been indicated in previous replies.
