How to move and copy data from one table to another table

1.I want to move all data from old table to new table like cut and paste.
2.Then want to move some data(when i click check box particular row in front end)from old to new table like copy paste.

Any body give example in asp.net c#.i need code behind format.(MSSQL queries)

to cut paste all
insert into Newtablename
select * from Oldtablename
truncate Oldtablename

.......................

copy paste
insert into Newtablename
select * from Oldtablename where [condition]

INSERT INTO Table2 ()
SELECT
FROM Table1
WHERE ;
DELETE FROM Table1
WHERE ;
COMMIT;

example:
INSERT INTO TABLE2 SELECT * FROM TABLE1
INSERT INTO TABLE2 SELECT * FROM TABLE1 WHERE COL1 = 'A'
INSERT INTO TABLE2 (COL1, COL2, COL3) SELECT COL1, COL4, COL7 FROM TABLE1

after moving the data truncate/delete the data in table1
delete from table1
