How to pass arguments to command prompt?

Hi,,

i want to run some command in the command prompt at back-end side.so can u plz tell me how can i run commands in command prompt at back-end side??

e.g.when user selects any folder using folderbrowsing ,i want to hide that folder using attrib command .i want to run all this things in back-end...

Thanks in advance....Please help me...I am waiting for sollution.

No matter which mechanism you use to hide the folder, if we change the setting, we still can see the folder. I mean even if you use "attrib +s +h" to deeply hide the folder or file, I can still change the setting to show the hidden file.
I think you can add read or write permisson to the folder, so the user without enough permission can not read or write the file or folder even he can see it.

By using This solution u can hide it. but the problem is when u change the view setting in ur PC. the folder is visible (OR) if u make search , it shows the hidden folder. I want to hide the folder in such a way that it should not be show until the permission given. Please give me solution.
