Hi ALL Iam having a query regarding ssrs setup for below SharePoint 2016 farm Total 6 servers are there in Test Farm ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ 2 servers with Application with search role 2servers with WFE with Distribution role 1 server sql DB 1 server SSRS I see MS suggested that SSRS should be installed only on custom role server. So i will make/convert one of the WFE server to custom role and install Reporting Services – SharePoint / Reporting Services Add-in for SharePoint in that server.
Now the farm looks like this :- 2 servers with Application with search role 1servers with WFE with Distribution role 1 server With Custom 1 server sql DB 1 server SSRS My query here is 1.Do i have to install that 2 components on any other servers in the above? 2.Does Custom role server will act as WFE server 3.What is purpose of having dedicated SSRS server 4.Diference between SSRS integrate mode and Native mode Could you please suggest me the right topology!
