How to read a email using asp .net c# The mail is only acces

1) you want to read email using SMTP server then use an eagetmail library.

2) you want to read email using POP server then use an openpop library.

You would need to send emails to a server where your code would run to read the email and its body. It would also contain information about the sender.

 

In sharepoint you need to set an incoming email library setting in a document library of a shrepoint site on a particular server. When mails are directed to the server then a C# code is written which runs on the server and reads the email. 

You can read emails from sever only using POP3 or IMAP protocals.

 

both protocals need authentication details to access emails.
