How to retrieve Information for website using C#

I guess you need to keep track of the version of the page or something and save it in database or 
somewhere on the persistent media. So any time a page changes, you need to modify the value. 
After that you need to notify your application that a changes has been made. This can be done in 
different ways. Either your application looks for the version after certain interval and compare current 
version with the new version OR you need run some kind of notification services.
