Is this possible.. if i have printed form/page and I fill some information like suppose client registration in form and instead of entering those values in database manually..scan that page and save diferent field values in database in respective table and fields

I got some ocr software yesterday through i have planned to go in following manner
1)scan the document in pdf format
2)With ocr software(AbleToExtract..Professional) convert it in excel
3)And we know very well how to save excel data in database
Is this good way?????

is your question to save the scanned image to the database or create an OCR and read the scanned image and save the data to the database?
