How to Save data into SQL Server by using WebAPI POST in MVC

I Want to save a Record into SQL server by using Asp.Net WEB API Using POST method

Here my Code is

Above mentioned code was written in my Employees Controller class and Employee model class.whenever i'm trying to run this application it throws the above http:404 error .

please help me out.

as per mention in image you not passing the @name values. Many reason are there in this type of exception.

1. Reason Emp.Name values is Null. Solution create the validation on both side client and server.
2. Reason Emp.Name textbox name mismatch. Solution check in proper way on design page every name is correct as per class Name employee.

See in your screen shot the parameter name @Name not used That means the server control where u putting name related data that value not taking by this input parameter @Name. Check your database as well as code where u missing the exact parameter @Name , Also compare with the other parameters.

You can definitely fix it.

Yes I got it ,While making GetEmployeeByID was not accepting me to get details of employee with their ID,Now i'm Able to get the Details but while Post data is raises some error please go through the following screen for error solving.

My Database Table

I'm Inserting the values via emp object(which is created for Employee class) but it passes EmployeeID=0,Name=Null,Manager ID=0 while i'm inserting using Fiddler software.please let me know where the exact problem was existed???

Sorry i mean to say while i'm sending request to my Employees controller class to get Employee details with EmployeeID=2 but while making only request i'm getting this request ,it not allowing me to debug the application

Put Break points and debug where the line of code go to error page.

Otherwise check your ID value in Routeconfig.cs . Some id value not in back end i think

I can't understand what you are trying to ask?
Save records using HTTP POST?
404 Error
Save records you need to create a new HttpPost method and write the saving code for the same.
404 : Error i will request you to debug your program first and check what's going wrong.
