I have save image in folder but i want save exact folder path to in database with web api of HttpResponseMessage method

You are looking to save exact folder path of the client system from where a user selects the image? or you want to absolute folder path of the file which was saved on the server? in case of later case, you can directly get the absolute as follows Path.GetFullPath(( new Uri(absolute_path)).LocalPath); In a prior case, you need to send a separate the client end folder path instead of finding it from the postedFiles object.

for example you hosted your rest full services in abc domain and storing images in images folder thenk url will b like abc.com/images/filename.jpg
