how to select latest order from table

i have four table like:

1 clientaddress

2 products

3 ordermaster

4 order details

i want select latest order of client in where condition

like client_email=''" and date= max(date)

I think if you have knowledge about sql its not any big task.
Just write a sql query as per MANAS given above ,

Let me suggest one slight improvement, please.

As much as possible, try not to write queries like the one suggested as:

....AND date = (SELECT top 1 date....

The better practice is to declare a separate variable, assign the value to it and use that variable in the another query:

declare @maxOrderDate [Date]

select top 1 @maxOrderDate = Date....

i will use the table like this

SELECT Tbl_OrderMaster.item_amount, Tbl_OrderMaster.item_shipping, Tbl_OrderMaster.date, Tbl_Client_Address.ClientName, Tbl_Products.ProductName,
Tbl_Products.ProductCode, Tbl_Products.Image1
FROM tbl_OrderDetail INNER JOIN
Tbl_Products ON Tbl_OrderDetail.ProductFkId = Tbl_Products.ProductId INNER JOIN
Tbl_OrderMaster ON Tbl_OrderDetail.OrderMasterfkId = Tbl_OrderMaster.orderId INNER JOIN
Tbl_Client_Address ON Tbl_OrderMaster.ClientAdrsId = Tbl_Client_Address.ClientId

and use email from Tbl_Client_Address and date from Tbl_OrderMaster

in where condition

Try like below:

SELECT * FROM ordermaster
WHERE client_email = ''
AND date = (SELECT top 1 date from ordermaster WHERE client_email = '' ORDER BY date DESC)

you didn't provide how tables are related each other. By assuming I provided it.
